Forty-five years ago, I started making Bloody Mary’s for family, friends, weddings, and sporting events. They enjoyed the mix so much that it became a popular drink wherever I went. People would ask me, “John where are the Big John Bloody Marys’?" And that’s how the name got started.
So finally, it’s here and I hope you will enjoy this smooth refreshing bloody mary mix handcrafted right here in Charleston, SC.

Once Opened Does the Mix Need to be Refrigerated?
Because our ingredients are so fresh, and free of preservatives, yes, you have to refrigerate after opening. The good news is that if you keep it cool, you can use it for as many as 4-6 months after cracking the seal.
Why is it Called Big John’s?
I have been making Bloody Mary’s for my family and friends since 1974, and they became so popular that when I would attend an event or gathering, everyone’s first question would be “Where are the Big John Bloody Mary’s?” The name just stuck!
